It was my mother's birthday a few days back, but my father did not have time to celebrate with her so we celebrate just yesterday as part of her belated birthday celebration. It was an enjoyable evening i would say. I went out with my boyfriend in the afternoon to get some "last minute" gifts for my parents. Why parents? Why does it also include my father? The reason is because, i did not have enough money at that time to buy my father birthday present or even father's day gift. I also did not buy my mother any mother's day gift. Although, i do not have much money currently but i know that these money is worth spending for. And whats more i am going to have a long vacation. I can use that time to work, to earn back those money. I know i have got to cherish every moment with my love ones because money can't buy back time. Talking about shopping for gifts, it is pretty difficult to shop for gifts when you know that person have everything you can ever think about. Bags, clothes, wallets, etc.. So my boyfriend and i literally walk around the whole shopping centre again and again for about an hour or so. Then, we decided that since we are unable to find anything, we shall go get ourselves something to eat first. We went ahead with that. We ate KFC before heading to look for the gifts. 

As we walk, we saw body shop. So we headed in to take a look. Interestingly, we found some nicely wrapped gifts. Some are in boxes, while some are in bags. The ones in boxes are the much more expensive ones which can cost up to $65.90! Of course, there are cheaper ones which makes suitable gift ideas too. There are gifts that cost less than $20 as well. Basically, it is more towards personal preference. So after i got a gift from body shop, i went ahead to see what to get for my father. So, i saw SASA's Men section and i quickly ran in to take a look. There were only toilette so i thought of getting a box which contains toilette and body wash. But the sales lady told me to get just the toilette which contains 200ml instead of 70ml of toilette with body wash. She told me it is more worth it this way, so i did according to what she advised. 

After getting all the gifts, we took a train down to meet my parents before we head to dinner together. For the whole day, my boyfriend is there complaining about how he should dressed. Attire + hairstyle does matter greatly to him. Of course to me, appearance do matter to me too. So here is how i look all dressed up and ready for dinner. 



The atmosphere was quite cozy but it started to get warm as the heat from the steamboat's pot warms up the whole place, causing us to feel uneasy when we eat. You want to eat comfortably and not having to feel warm and eating with such situation. We told them to turn down the temperature of the air condition, but it still not quite of any help. But i think that overall, i would give it an average rating. So before we ate steamboat, we started off something light. We ordered sashimi and California handroll. I wanted to order more but my parents told me that if i am unable to finish the steamboat then we can order more add ons again. It looks beautiful, but the sashimi was not fresh enough. But still, we managed to finish eating it raw. Although we have the thought of cooking it since it is not fresh to eat it raw.



As soon as the soup boil, we added all the ingredient in and we started eating. This goes on for about an hour before my mother is "down". What i mean by "down" is that she is full so she stops eating. Which left my father, my boyfriend and me. After 30 minutes, my father is down too. Which left the two of us. So we agreed that i will eat the mushroom while he eats the veggie. As for tofu, we can both eat them. We also shared the meat. If i am not wrong, both of us were down at the same time. At that point, we are all full. But when we went back home, we did not feel the hunger. But we felt that we can eat somemore. But we did not. It was an enjoyable evening. It surely is! I am also glad that my parents love the gift.
